This past summer after a wonderful weekend canoeing at Warm Lake, I had my first back spasm. It was like someone prodded me with a live electrical wire right at the base of my spine. The spasms came out of nowhere with no warning. After a week of these, my muscles were knotted up my spine to my neck. Luckily, a co-worker recommended MaryAnn, to whom she'd been going to for years. I made an appointment, and in short order, I was stretched out on the massage table. Somehow, MaryAnn managed to completely "knead" out the kinks and knots and I was once again able to move without being jolted with pain. It was terrific!
